Growing in Small Spaces

Living in an apartment, condo, suite… Whatever your small space might be, you can still grow itty bitty gardens… Or something similar to a garden. There are a bunch of projects out there for kids to do.

I got the Grass Pall pictured above from Michael’s Craft Store. It took just a few days to start seeding and my 5-year-old (at the time) was able to plant it all by herself. Easy peasy stuff.

Window ledges are the perfect spot to grow herbs and small plants indoors. I currently have parsley, two basils, and an avocado tree started. I’m excited for the avocado tree! It just started sprouting after three weeks of waiting.
