Personal Chit Chat and How This Week Also Bites

Yesterday, I had slated in time to clean the bathtubs as well as my car. As luck would have it, my SPD was quite severe and I was barely able to shuffle to and from my car to get the kids off to school, and standing fully upright was out of the question. Needless to say, no housework aside from dishes and cooking got done yesterday. I spent most of the time in bed or on the floor in stretching positions.

Testing Pinterest? Oh yes. I was supposed to do a YouTube collaboration scheduled for today, but I was unable to create any footage for it on account of the SPD. It’s almost overwhelming the frustration I’ve had due to this. I don’t like rescheduling things and since december, I was fully intending to maintain a proper schedule on this website as well as on YouTube. I intend to find alternatives for when these mishaps happen in to prevent straying from the schedule.

I have a chiropractor appointment this afternoon, so I anticipate some increased pain this evening and through some of tomorrow as my ligaments settle in to the adjustments. I have a physio appointment lined up in February–the earliest I could get in–and will be making a doctor’s appointment to see about getting a temporary handicap placard for parking on those days that I truly need it. I’m stubborn and likely won’t use it, even when it is fully warranted. I am tempted to find a walker as well, even if it is just for around the house.

I feel so silly dealing with this. I’m a healthy 32-year-old woman dealing with a normal part of life (pregnancy) and I’ve spent most of the pregnancy either too nauseous to move or physically unable to move.

I am so thankful that my kids for the most part are excellent listeners and help out. My son does so reluctantly, while my daughter is far too helpful. I have to remind her that her job is to be a kid, not my caretaker lol  She has a very nurturing personality naturally. I can’t complain 😀  I just don’t want her feeling obligated to do things for me; I’m her mom. She makes food, brings snacks, grabs grocery bags before I can get to them, offers to help constantly. She truly is amazing. Tonight will be filled with board games and family time <3
