Thrifty Thursday: Last Minute DIY Gift of Playdough

My one and only niece is old enough to truly enjoy the squishy awesomeness that is playdough. I picked up some cute jars at the dollar store for $1.25 and used some supplies on hand to whip up the gift of playdough.

All the ingredients you need are 2 and a half cups of flour, one cup of salt, 1 and one quarter cups of hot water and two tablespoons of oil–I used olive oil. When you are done kneading your dough, you can divide it into portions, then add essential oils and food colouring to make the playdough extra special.

I added each color/scent into its own little jar and they are ready to go!
