As I am unable to do Vlogmas, despite my best efforts and I am currently without a job, I have signed up for an online Diploma course for Medical transcriptionist. The time to complete is set at 52 weeks. I am going to try to knock that out of the park. As such, I’m going to document the very uninteresting journey as I truck along the education.

Since I already have a Bachelor’s of Science degree, this shouldn’t take me the full 52 weeks as I have a decent understanding of medical terminology, which can be a barrier to some people in this educational program.

It’s been a while since I have used this website for its intended purpose–to challenge myself and document those challenges. This will be a weekly challenge that you will see updates on. I will post weekly updates on this website regarding my progress.

I will also be working on an ongoing blog to help document the process and frustrations.

As an aside, I have been sending out resumes as well so I am hopeful to get a work from home job while I am completing this course, though I am not overly hopeful.
