Meal planning is becoming quite the chore as our household numbers have been fluctuating without a schedule due to summer plans, moving dates, and extra shifts I keep picking up. Stop me! Save me! Let’s make this a little more interesting and stream lined. What days will feature which foods?
Mondays: Meat
Tuesdays: “Taco” Tuesdays. For tacos, wraps, Mexican themed, and so forth.
Wednesday: Meatless Wednesdays. For meals without meat.
Thursday: Stews or casseroles.
Friday: Fishy Fridays. Bring on the omega 3 fatty acids. Nom nom!
Saturday: Free for all. Whatever fits.
Sunday: Pantry clean out meals.
With that announcement out of the way, let’s take a look at this week’s menu:
Monday (August 29th): Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie
Tuesday: Fish Tacos… My other half’s delicious recipe, which I do not know. Some secrets are devilish to keep. 🙁
Wednesday: Lentil and Quinoa Chili I think I may have posted this one before, but it’s too delcious.
Thursday: Harvest Stew with Sausage (tweeked to allow for ingredients I already have).
Friday: Honey Garlic Salmon with Baked Crispy Potatoes
Saturday: Free for all. Family can make whatever they want for themselves. I’ll be at work 😉
Sunday: Vegetable Soup w/ Barley (odds and ends, vegetables about to go past their dates, barley, chicken stock, spices, and a crockpot).
